Oh....my....WORD!!!!! I ordered a mouthpiece that had been redone by Scott Kurtzweil (I'd heard great things from some of you all on this board)! It was "just" a Woodwind Co. B6 that he had redone, and it is FABULOUS!!!!!! I mean like CRAZY FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought this mouthpiece would be a good spare...well...yeah right, it's going to be my primary mouthpiece! I was having real trouble finding the right reeds, but with this mouthpiece, my reeds sing (you all know what I mean by that)! Those crazy high notes sound smooth and not shrill! My husband (who knows nothing about clarinets) even noticed the difference in sound! I am so happy, I just had to post!!!! lol. BEST mouthpiece I've owned thus far!!! No one else seems to understand my giddiness...it's a clarinet player thing...

(for the record, I am not affiliated in any way with him, I am just an OVERLY OVERLY satisfied (THRILLED) customer)

Yes, I've been appreciating his work too. I like his 1.10/17 mm curve. Love a medium facing!

I love the curve and medium facing too! It "feels" good. It also looks really pretty. :)

I have four mouthpieces that Scott has refaced. He's a wealth of information. His mps are the best deal on ebay.

Yes, I think he is the new mouthpiece guy of ebay. I compiled a document of all his facing descriptions from his various auctions. Very informative.

I'm a serious geek. I need sunlight and vitamins.
