Setting Buffet combination lock

I've acquired a Buffet attache style case with exterior combination locks, but no instructions. There are no obvious pins or levers. I believe this case is what comes with the Festival model. Can someone advise me how to set the lock?

From the instruction insert:

1) With the lock open, push button in the direction of the arrow and hold it in this position. (me: the photo shows pushing the large square button outwards, but the button on mine is round).

2) Set number wheels to required combination.
Turn the wheels (if necessary) with the help of a ball point pen.
Release button.
