Hello Everyone,
I am doing a research paper on the development of the clarinet in clarinet quintet literature. I am specifically looking at the main themes and the treatment of chromaticism used. I have located a 5 Keyed Clarinet fingering Chart and an 18 Keyed clarinet fingering chart. But I am looking for a 10 Keyed clarinet fingering chart....hopefully I can find one that was a Griessling and Schlott 10 keyed clarinet played by Heinrich Baermann.
Your help would be GREATLY appreciated
Erin

Surely an 18 key clarinet will have several duplicate keys, so to work out the fingerings for a 10 key clarinet, refer to the 18 key fingering chart but ignore the fingerings which use the keys not fitted to the 10 key clarinet. You can also use 5 key clarinet fingerings on the 10 key clarinet as well - a 10 and 18 key clarinet is a further development of the 5 key clarinet (as is the simple/Albert system and German and Oehler systems) as keys were gradually added to clarinets as time went on (the Klose-Buffet designed Boehm system clarinet is a complete redesign which doesn't share this lineage).
