Check with John Butler in Sugarland, TX. http://www.jbwinds.com/ He has done plating for me, good job and at a rational cost.
A great teacher gives you answers to questions
you don't even know you should ask.

I, too, have had John do a few clarinets w/plating
Realize a re-plate (including posts) requires an overhaul plus cost of buffing/plating of keys
Then, new key corks, pads, and swedging after plating

Many years ago I had my new R13 silver plated by Weiner; well-done, but costly.

Swaging key barrels (and any other remedial key fitting) is best done before plating so the plating isn't damaged, then the keys will be fraised back to make them fit in between the pillars after they're plated.

Chris is correct. All lost motion is taken out before plating to avoid any marking of the keys after the plating process. Sometimes excess plating has to be removed from the inside of the hinge tubes and pillars as well.
