Does anyone have information regarding Orsi instruments or to be more specific... clarinets made by Orsi Instrumenti Musicali in Milan, Italy (aka. Prof. Romeo Orsi)????
Please help if you can.

I do not know about their clarinets, but, I do know that Orsi was one of the original companies to make the rare contra-bass saxophones (keyed in Eb, two ocyaves below the alto saxophone). They have just, within the last year, singed a contract with L.A. SAX to once again start building contra-bass saxophones (built by Orsi to be sold as L.A. SAX saxophones).

I have been only one time to visit the laboratory of the Orsi (Orsi means bears in italian) and I was impressed by contrabass clarinets hung to the wall one together to other monster not very catalogued. Here in Italy the instruments of Orsi are used in the country bands (they are economic and little other). The old models easy have the key descendant to the mib, characteristic of the Italian instruments of some decade make.
