Ravel fingering

Hi,

Just wondering how you would play G#-D and G#-D# tremolos before rehearsal number 2 in Ravel's introduction et allegro?

Keep everything on your right hand down, and also your left ring finger. Even experiment with leaving your left middle finger down.

Keep your left hand and wrist still. Just nudge the A key and play the G# with almost no movement of your left index finger.

The speed is not that fast. Play it strictly in tempo, just as you do with the tongued figures.

Curiously enough, I found that rotating my left wrist, or left forearm to be more precise, was the most accurate way I could perform that passage the last time it found its way onto my stand.
