 need help with my clarinet

So i finally sent my clarinet out for a complete overhaul to a reputable shop (person), i really have missed playing it as i haven't been in the "game" for a while, (small kids/college) now i just want to enjoy music.

i want to ask you guys if anyone can help me with the clarinet that i have, i just want to know more about it,
the clarinet:
its a buffet Crampon C12 , and its made in France, i don't know exactly where to look but it seems that the link doesn't work for the serial look-up at buffet's site, or its that i'm not looking in the right place. The serial # is t F 321416 and looking at other sites i only got that it was made in 1989 and that it was meant for the European market (the F behind the s#) Right?

thats it, i love the sound, that is why i have it but i want to know more,
thank you for your help in advance

also looking under direct light the wood seems brownish black, id say 30% brown 70% black, what does this indicate in the wood?

I don't have any personal experience with the C12, but I found this link here that may provide you some info:

The C12 is placed in between the E13 and R13 in terms of its lineup in the general scheme of things with Buffet clarinets.

It's marketed as a conservatoire model instrument (hence the 'C' in C12) and is placed above the E13.

Here's the marketing blurb on the C12 from Buffet's catalogue:

Student clarinets range has took advantage of the BUFFET CRAMPON's experience and knowledge in manufacturing of professional clarinets.

Made entirely of ebony [grenadilla], these two clarinets [E13 and C12] provide young musicians with their first experience of playing solo.

The precision bore is close to that of a professional instrument. These high quality instruments are at the top of BUFFET CRAMPON student range.

C12 CONSERVATOIRE

This "conservatory" model has been specially designed for students envisioning a professional career and whose improved technical capabilities mean they have surpassed their first instrument.

Here's some technical spec:

Model number - BC1134C/BC1136C
Model name - C12 Conservatoire
Pitch - Bb
Barrel length - 65mm/66mm
Pitch - 442Hz/440Hz
Wooden body
Bell with ring
Adjustable thumbrest
Silver plated keywork
17 keys/6 rings
Metal rings
Double fish skin pads*
Pointed needle springs
Delivered in case with mouthpiece, ligature and accessories

* while many companies say fish skin, it's a myth - it is in fact sausage skin which is made from the lining from cattle intestines (and also used to make gut strings).

As for the colouration of the wood (best seen in strong light), it's perfectly normal for there to be some variation in colour in a single piece of timber and for the colour of the joints to vary widely as well, so no need to be alarmed by any of that. Wooden clarinets that appear perfectly uniform in colour have usually been stained or lacquered so they look uniform, although the truth is the natural wood colour before staining will vary from dark brown or dark crimson through to black.
