 Buescher Aristocrat Mazzeo??

Hi everyone!! I am a lurker and have been on this site for several years and pop in every once in a while with a question. I have a resonite Buescher Aristocrat Mazzeo system clarinet that I picked up the other day at the pawn shop. I've looked into the archives to educate myself, but I need confimation on what I have here. Assuming this is a student level instrument and that even though this says Buescher, this was made after Buescher was aquired by Bundy, and therefore a Bundy mazzeo clarinet or something that is equivalent to that??

I don't have the serial number handy at the moment, but I seem to recall it was in the 800,000 to 900,000 range, which may put it into the 80's or even early 90's. I will post some pics of it along with the serial number later on today, but don't know that is necessary since this isn't a high level instrument.(or at least that is my understanding)

Funny thing is, I paired it with my Sumner Accousticut mouthpiece(love these mouthpieces!!) and the thing really wales for a plastic clarinet!! I couldn't believe the sound I was getting out of it, especically the vibrato and lower ranges. It must have been overhauled recently cause it doesn't seem to need any work. Picked this put for a ($) at a pawn shop, more out of curiosity than anything cause I wanted to see what the Mazzeo system was all about.

Can't seem to find much info, *bay listings,ect.... out there about a Buescher Mazzeo. Plenty of stuff about Bundy Mazzeo though... If someone can steer me in the right direction that would be great!!

Jennifer

Oh, FYI...I do know about Buescher Aristocrat as it relates to Saxophones and also found the info in the archives about the student lines of Aristocrat clarinets, but no mention of a Mazzeo.

It's most likely a rebadged Bundy Mazzeo as the regular Buescher Aristocrat clarinets were identical to Bundys apart from the socket rings.
