HELP--looking for a clarinet quartet (3 sopranos & bass) arrangement for this novelty piece by Alec Templeton. the Benny Goodman band played & recorded it over the years, and there was a published clarinet quartet version of it up through the '60s (which I'm now kicking myself for not grabbing when I had the chance!). It's a hoot to play--the lead clarinet laying down a theme for 4 bars or so, then another clarinet enters with a counter melody, then 4 bars later the third, then 4 bars more and tha bass comes in--it's very Bach-y and fugue-y, except it also swings like crazy, and it's typical of Templeton--witty, elegant, fun to hear. The piece has been out of print for a few years, but I'm sure it's out there somewhere. If you know of one, or have an idea where else I could try, let me know! thanks!

Try Boosey and Hawkes beacuae they have been the ones to publish most of the pieces played by Benny.
Sorry but that's all I have to offer.
