I am currently using Zonda # 2 1/2 which is comparable to most reed's 3 1/2. The quality of the reeds are supurb, and the tone is great. I have also used Mitchell Luire reed and I prefer the Zonda now.

I was using V12 3s but now I'm using the 4s but I have to put a least a little sanding time in or some work goes into every reed that I use. You know refining and that sort of thing!

I LOVE Rico's Grand Concert Thick Blank reeds. I use a #4 1/2.

Grand Concert Select Traditional Blank 3.5 are nice. I have to sand some down though. Mitchel Lurie 3.5 are good too.

Been using V12's and got a pleasant surprise when I tried some Vintage XL--they are a thick blank like the V12.

I have been using both the Vandoren V-12'a #3 and now have found that the Rigotti Gold #3L work very well also. Not much work needed to make them work.
