I've had a new Rico Reserve X5 mouthpiece for a couple of days now. I've been playing used reeds, various brands & strengths (some pretty new) from about 16 different boxes that I have.
I'm getting ready to order some new reeds but wanted to see what those of you using the Rico Reserve X5 are using. I want to try the Rico Reserve Classic in either 3.5 or 3.5+ but not sure which is best match for this mpc
What reeds do you guys find to be the best match for this particular mpc?

Thanks Ed, I have read here on the forum that some use the Reserve Classic 3.5+ on the Rico Reserve 5X mouthpiece so it must be a good choice to try. I don't want to get reeds that are too hard but I do have the ATG system so I could adjust them if they're too hard.
I already ordered the Rico Reserve Classic 3.5+ reeds from Muncy.
I'm loving the Rico Reserve mpc even with used reeds but I can't wait to play some fresh quality reeds of the correct strength on it.

I've not had such great luck with V12's lately. Even after using the ATG system the V12's have left a lot to be desired. I'm hoping that I'll be happy with the Rico Reserve Classics and forget about Vandorens.
I'll see how it goes with the Rico Reserve Classics. Who knows, the Rico Reserve Classics may not be any better than the V12's. Time will tell.
