Hi, I was given a mouthpiece for my clarinet with the letters: Go Vao, or Go Vio signed in script, there are no other identifying marks. Does anyone recognize or have any info about this mouth piece? Thanks.

Love the mystery! Wish I could help. I've seen a lot of mpcs but this isn't ringing a bell.

Possibly mp by Heinz Viotto, who sometimes just signs 'Vio'. See blurry shot attached. Dunno about the 'G' word

I'm pretty sure one of the Viotto facings on the mouthpieces that were sold in USA by Geoff Flolo had a facing designated "GO" (name correct?) (not the ones for the european market which had different facings and markings).
Does the mouthpiece have two single scribe lines? (also called "ligature lines")

Thanks so much, you nailed it!. That is the handwriting, mystery solved! Can you you furnish any background information about the maker and when the mouthpiece was offered for sale?
