 E11 playing flat

I was talking with my daughter today and her clarinet instructor mentioned that she's playing in tune but consistently flat and recommended that my daughter consider a shorter barrel. She plays a German Buffet E11 with a Vandoren M13-Lyre mouthpiece and stock barrel (I measure it to be 65mm). I'm planning on having her play for me and I'll check the tuner to see how flat she is. I'm thinking of visiting our local dealer and have her try some different mouthpieces and barrels to see if we can find a combination that plays in tune. From what I've gleaned here it sounds like the mouthpiece may be responsible for some of the flatness (being that it's for an A440 instrument). So I would like to know of a similar Vandoren mouthpiece she could try (facing, tip opening, feel) that might be for a nominal tuning of A442. If I understand correctly the bore of the E11 is a bit larger than an R13 so it would seem that the E11 65mm barrel would be roughly equivalent volume wise to an R13 barrel somewhat longer (how long, I don't know). So a 65mm R13 barrel should play "shorter" than the E11 65mm barrel. In any case, I'm wondering what barrels you think she should try? She and her instructor are happy with her sound, embrocure, and other things, just noticed she'a a bit flat. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

The Vandoren M13 is from the 13 models. It's a bit confusing because there are several 13 models but also a model called M13. The 13 models are purposely made to play flatter than the regular models. It might be a good idea to try a non-13 Vandoren mouthpiece. Though a shorter barrel might compensate for her current mouthpiece, it is possible.

I agree with the previous suggestion. It might also be worth checking to see if the pitch comes up a bit after the instrument has been played for a while.

Measure the barrel again. Default E11 barrels are 64.5 mm. E11's are pitched at a-442, not a-440. Odd to have a student flat on an E11, although 13 series VD mouthpieces have been running flatter than they used to lately.
