 Neat little thing happened to me with my second mpc

I just found it really interesting.

I bought a Rico Reserve facing 1.00 mouthpiece at clarinetfest. Very good mouthpiece, love it, and it works really well for me. So I had my band order a second as a backup in case something happened.

After checking them out today side by side, I noticed a cool little thing with the serial numbers.

Clarinetfest mouthpiece purchased in August, serial number 815. Mouthpiece I got in from the band today, serial number 1815. I just thought it was neat that the second mouthpiece ordered and delivered to me was exactly 1000 mouthpieces after the first one I purchased! Neat!
