 James Waterson "Grand Quartet"

The only published version of this 19th Century work that I know of is edited by Albert Andraud, apparently to make it more marketable by making the original bass clarinet part into an "either/or" 4th Bb clarinet part. In so doing he created many questionable voice leadings and chord inversions, IMO detracting from the aesthetic of the piece.

Does anyone know of a score or parts to the original work, predating Andraud's hack job?

I have parts dating from 1936 of the Quartet and the Trio. If memory serves the 4th part does say ad lib bass but I would have to check when I get home to be able to give you a definitive answer
