I own two Bb clarinets and one Eb soprano, it is becoming hard to carry around all these cases I know they make double cases for the Bb's but I am really just looking for one that can hold my Eb and my good Bb. I have been searching the internet like crazy and haven't found anything. I was wondering if anyone knew where to find a case or if they even exsisted?

Make one like I did for my C and Eb combo.
You will need a briefcase, a slab of styrofoam, a seat cushion pad, and some velvet.
Cut the pockets out of the inside of the briefcase lid.
Cut the seat cushion pad to fit inside the lid. Cover with velvet. Glue inside the lid.
Cut the styrofoam to fit inside the bottom of the briefcase. Remember to include cutouts for the briefcase hinges.
Get some coathanger wire to form some u shaped gouges that you can gouge out depressions to fit your clarinet parts. Keep at it until you've got them carved out. The foam is forgiving, if you cut too much, you can fill in spaces with wood putty.
Spray the styrofoam with tacky glue and cover it with velvet. Place the parts of your clarinets in the depressions to hold the velvet against the foam while the glue dries.
When the glue has set, wrap the velvet around the sides of the foam and glue the foam slab down into the bottom of the briefcase.
Voila, you now have a custom double case.
Here's mine built with this method.

@Dixie, that case actually looks rather nice.
Dunno how much you want to spend or how much it will cost, but Wiseman will make just about anything you want.

They are really nice cases. I know two bass clarinetists who have their cases. I believe the bass clarinet ones run around $700 or $800. I have no clue about the clarinet ones.

True.. Everything depends on what you want to spend. Mine cost 35 bucks. And after completion it went into an altieri bag, which matches the one that is on my double case with the A and Bb clarinets.
Really no need to spend a lot of money if you have a little creativity. I've looked at Wiseman cases, but - well, I scour hard for bargains. The Eefer and the C pictured in my case both bought and completely overhauled cost less than a Wiseman case.

Go to www.berp.com and click on Bags from Spain. They have a triple case for Bb/A/Eb clarinets. You could just use the area for A clarinet for the other Bb if you wish. I have this case and love it since i do use all 3 from time to time, especially Bb and Eb. Lots of storage space in the front pocket area and the clarinets are very snug and free from moving around too much. It costs $346 according to berp.com however they do have a fall special that I got for 30% off. Came out to like 280 after shipping. Not bad if you ask me.

I have a Giggliotti case for Eb and Bb that works greats and it was fairly cheap. Seems as though I bought it from Muncie but I may be wrong.

A clarinetist friend of mine made a double case for his Bb & Eb from a Smith & Wesson gun case, the interior containing ample foam alread in place. It looks very nice, protects his clarinets, has plenty of room for other related piecies of assessory and the "plus factor", NOBODY MESSES WITH HIM. However, some difficulty in boarding airlines............

I believe the Wiseman double case will work of a Bb and an Eb or you could look for a triple case and have room for all kinds of Junk. ESP http://eddiesclarinet.com

I cannot find a double Bb/Eb clarinet case anywhere. I'm so frustrated. How is that even possible?!?! I would like them both together as one. Anyone know where I can purchase one?
Thanks,
Chris L.

Topic: A Solution For Bb/Eb Case
I recently talked to Fred Jacobowitz in Raleigh, NC, who has a business called Case-Closed that specializes in musical instrument case repairs, new case builds, and case customizing. I informed him that I wanted to have him convert a brand new Pro-Tec double clarinet case that was originally designed for Bb/A clarinets and have him convert it to a Bb/Eb case. He did a fantastic job of just removing the A clarinet slots and used two new pieces of Styrofoam to custom carve the slots for my Eb clarinet, including the specifications that I sent him to include spaces for a Morrie Backun Eb barrel and the Clark Fobes Eb extension. He was extremely reasonable in pricing it, was very thorough in communicating with me, and provided a quick turn around!
If interested, you can contact Fred at: www.case-closed.us
I have included a photo of his work on my case and I am a very satisfied customer!

There are Chinese Eb/Bb double cases on French eBay for around €110 (which is a bit steep) - search for "Etui double pour petite clarinette mib et clarinette sib"

Fred converted a new LeBlanc double case that it holds my Selmer full Boehm, eefer, and Fobes extension. He did a great job and the price was very reasonable, less than €110 for sure!

Here's a hard case- a little pricey at €134
http://www.thomann.de/gb/kariso_97_b_eb_klarinettenkoffer.htm
It says it's for German clarinets, but I believe the Eb bodies are the same length and the Bb upper joint for Boehm is shorter than for Oehler, so a Boehm clarinet should fit. Boehm barrels are a bit longer, but I would think that they would fit.

Click the poster's name to bring up contact info.
BTW-I know folks who have just used double clarinet cases and made adjustments to the A clarinet slots to fit.

I found someone who purchases Bb and A or Eb clarinet cases. One of my friends has the case and it's awesome. Plenty of room and can be used for an A clarinet or Eb clarinet in the upper slot. There is a removable piece to shorten the molding to fit the entire Eb clarinet body.
The person I contacted was Mr. Ben Redwine, the cases come in multiple colors too.
His contact info is clarinet@redwinejazz.com
Cheers,
Chris L.
