 Fuzziness in Sound?
Author: ClarinetRebecca

Hello all,
So I have been playing on my wooden clarinet and have noticed I can sound a bit fuzzy when I play low notes. On my plastic one, this isn't the case. When I play high notes on the wooden one, the sound goes away. Is it because I am still trying to get used to playing on a wooden clarinet, or a reed problem/embouchure? I use a 2 1/2 Vandoren reed and it's the reed I always turn to when playing. And yes, I have swabbed the instrument down so I know it's not saliva. Thanks!
