Hi all,
I have searched for much of the Board for information about Morgan mouthpieces.
I am interested to know their facing lengths as opposed to their tip opening. Does anyone have some measurements?
Was just curious to compared the dimensions of my RM-15 to the similar Vandoren but just lacking the exact length of their facings.
Thanks!

I also have a question about Morgan mouthpieces: are they still made? I ordered one several years ago from a big US retailer and never got it. I know this mouthpiece was very highly thought of. Thank you

I looks like some are made under his name still. His colleagues continued with his design after his death. I don't know who is still involved with their manufacture.
They seem to have lost their RM-xx designation, judging from the web site who always used to sell them in USA.
Hopefully not against the rules of pointing to a vendor from this BB, google Junkdude to find a seller. They are also mentioned on Howarth's website in London, though the blurb does not elude to the fact that Mr Morgan has not been with us for a number of years. If those mentions are against BB rules, please delete this para.

It is likely the mouthpieceguys. They worked with Ralph.

@Ruben
I found this website here http://www.morganmouthpieces.com
Thou I dunno if their dimensions has changed over in new hands. Their opening seems to be differ according to those from the earlier days (according to my friend) but I do not have a gauge to measure out those stuff...

Brian Powell and Eric Griffenhagen worked for Ralph Morgan. My understanding was that they took over what was left of Ralph's business. I don't know whether they are currently doing anything with clarinet mpcs. but they should have the information you are looking for.
