Any one got any info on vintage La Reaux clarinets?? I'm kinda interested in getting one, but I can't seem to find any info on them anywhere. I'm looking at a wooden La Reaux Artiste Model, comes in a bright red and tan case with orange velvet and all I know is that they are vintage, and from France.
Any info would be much appreciated.

The "La Reaux" clarinet are almost certainly stencil instruments made to be sold as the "house brand" of a retailer or importer. Judging from the pictures I was able to dig up I would say that they were most likely made by Thibouville Freres based on the design of the keywork. You can compare the pictures of the clarinet you are considering to the ones on this page: http://www.clarinetpages.net/vintage-odd-brands/thibouville/thibouville-freres-ivry-euree-brevetes-concert I suspect you will find them to be nearly identical with the exception of the makers marks.
Most likely it will be a student level instrument. In good playing condition one might be worth ~$200-$300 (around the same price as a good used modern student clarinet). I would personally recommend passing on this one. You can get much better instruments for not a lot more money.
