Hello!
I currently play on an R-13 with a Cl5 Masters series Vandoren mouthpiece and I use 3 1/2+ reeds.
I have recently tried Mitchell Luries 4 1/2's and I like them but I want to try what else Rico has to offer.
I am wondering if anyone knows how the strengths are comparable from a
V-12 3 1/2+ to a Rico Reserve? Are they the same strength or do they vary slightly and if they do how so?
Also how do the Grand Concert Select Reeds compare as far as strength is concerned?
Thanks!
Erin

Hi Erin,
The Ricos run a little softer than the V12's. #4 Ricos are about the same as #3.75 V12's. I like V12's too and I think the most comparable Ricos are the Grand Concert Select Thick Blanks.
