Get rest, do everything the doc suggests. If you feel up to it, do some silent finger practice. As you feel better, begin playing.

Relax, it's a jury, not a heart transplant. Let the antibiotics do their thing for a couple of days. If you have done your work this semester, that will carry you through a few days of enforced rest.

The show must go on, regardless of how you feel. However, there are things you can do.
The first is to see a laryngologist who works with singers and wind players. They perform miracles in getting swelling under control.
Second, make up the classic "singer's cocktail" -- 1 teaspoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of vinegar and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice in a small glass of warm water. The honey offsets the acidity of the vinegar and lemon juice, and the whole thing is very soothing to the throat.
If you really can't play, go as soon as possible to the people who run the juries, explain the situation and arrange to play a few days later. Believe it or not, the faculty are on your side, and if you give them notice and a reasonable explanation, they will go out of their way to help you.
