That first one is a favourite of mine, but it's in A minor not A major. What exactly is your question? dn

Yes of course its in a minor- sorry, I did scan these very late last night!! :/

I wanted to know if you agreed with my breath marks, I was making sure they did not interrupt the phrase. I tried my best to stay true to the piece. I just wanted other clarinetist to also take a look and let me know.

Thank you.

The A minor and the C minor look good to me, but on the F minor, measure 38, try breathing after the F. That's just what my teacher told me, but I believe either way would be fine.

I agree with your marked breath marks, I wouldn't break the slur in m38. Thats what I'm telling my students to do FWIW.

HI there- sorry that my comment seemed a little rude (after writing it i looked at your other posting, came back to this one and edited it, but can't have "saved" the changes, must have exited firefox without clicking "post") dn

In the A minor one (which i have taught to many students)

I don't breath until the start of the 4th line...
I don't take a breath where you have one marked in line 7....
In the 2nd to bottom line i break the phrase and take a breath between the top space E and the G#.... a do a slight rit here and the G# is "a tempo"...
I don't take a breath where you have it marked in the last line...

I DO however have the lungs of a horse (other than being gigantic in size and playing for hours every day, i also do a lot of water sports)
dn
