I have seen a piece performed in recitals where the clarinetist is being rushed and gradually takes the instrument apart as the solo progresses. This was quite awhile ago, and I don't remember the name of the piece or the composer. Someone out there must know which one I'm talking about! I'm anxious to try this--my students would love it!
I appreciate any help anyone can give me.

Excerpt from a previous post by the webmaster. The piece is called:
"Immer Kleiner" (German for "Always Smaller") is printed both for clarinet and band, and a piano reduction version. It is available through Ludwig Music, 557 E. 140th St., Cleveland, OH 44110-1999. Ph. # 1-800 851-1150. Composer is Adolf Schreiner, and transcribed by George S. Howard."

On the same theme, I played Immer Kleiner at the school talent show. The audience loved it. Are there any similar novelty pieces that would work as a sequel for next year? I'm considering learning the Copland Ukulele Serenade on my violin- it's hilarious.
