 Bb Clarinet/Bb Sop. Sax.

Does anyone know of a good Bb Clarinet and Bb Sop Sax duet? A Clarinet or trumpet duet would work if it does not go to low.

Thanks.

Not specifically, but suggest you check recordings made by Bob Wilber and Kenny Davern, recently reissued on CD under their group name of Soprano Summit. They both played clarinet and soprano on those recordings and are great examples of the blending of both instruments. I believe amazon.com has them.

I would suggest you look for something for oboe and clarinet. The oboe part would have to be transposed, but some of them would probably work. There are a number listed here on sneezy and several looked interesting like Four Bagatelles for Oboe and Clarinet by Alan Blank.
