Hi
I'm looking for a very cheap bass clarinet mouthpiece that I can experiment with. I want to connect my pickup to the mouthpiece to compare it with the pickup that is on the neck right now. I don't want to experiment with any of my mouthpieces and would really rather not even do this with a cheap Yamaha mouthpiece. However the mouthpiece needs to be playable for this purpose i.e. not necessarily good, but not broken, etc. Something around $10 or less... excluding shipping costs which will be added.
Maybe a trade would also work. I'm not sure if I have anything that anyone would want but I can send Alisyn oil, or Doctor cork grease, or maybe some reeds I don't use.
You can email me (click on my username for my address).
Thanks
Nitai

Thanks to thsoe who emailed me and tried to help. I eventually found a mouthpiece to use for this. It was the original Buffet mouthpiece that I was sure I don't have anymore. Turns out they are good for some things after all

Actually Jack, most of the stock Buffet bass clarinet mouthpieces I've seen are the Ernst Schreiber (ESM) "EPE JM" models, which aren't too bad and with a proper refacing can be quite good. A bit better than doorstops

Luckily my door just stays in any position
This Buffet mouthpiece is just a new one from around ten years ago and says nothing other than the Buffet logo, so I have no idea what it is. It is not that bad, just not that good either. Anyway I will get a better mouthpeice for the pickup, don't want to drill mine and probably just a mental issue of not wanting to drill an expensive mouthpiece...
