Hi everyone. I've been playing the Eb clarinet for a little over two years. I've played it at my summer music camp and two different youth orchestras. But recently I've been having a lot of trouble finding reeds that are hard enough, and my altissimo register is extreamly flat as a result, and my tone quality is really lacking also. My intonation is normally a bit sharp, but i'm used to lipping down and using alternate fingerings and all that fun stuff. I was just wondering if theres any company out there that makes an Eb clarinet reed trimmer that any of you have had good luck with. Incase you're wondering, I have an R13 Eb, 4 1/2 V12 vandoren Eb reeds (I use the same for Bb, and they play perfectly for that), a 5RV mouthpiece, and the ligature i'm unsure of.
Thank you in advance!

Haven't seen one, but if I did I wouldn't buy it as the B flat trimmer works perfectly well for me.

The popular "Cordier" brand is made in many sizes for virtually all saxes and Eb, Bb, Alto and bass clarinets.

If, like many eefer players, you use cut down Bb reeds then the standard Bb trimmer is the best choice.
