hello.
i have just downloaded the leadsheet to "solfeggietto/metamorphosis" written and played by Eddie Daniels (cowritten with Jorge m. caladrelli).
its a very fun reading. and it would be very exciting to play this with, either an orchestra/jazzband or just a piano/jazzband. but i can't find the scores anywhere!! and i doesnt have the time to write it down myself!
do anyone knows where to get it?
he also has a book with a lot of his solos transcribed. that one has a lot of scores in it. but the solfeggietto is just the solo/lead....

I have the recording of him playing it and would love to play it also. Theres a version of Solfeggietto in the Thurston Passages book no.1 but I think his Metamorphosis solo is all improvised.2E.

Tried downloading the viewer and it's downloading at a whopping 5 k/sec
jeez
that's a really long 2 megs, reminds me of the stone ages of the internet. The old 14 baud modem, the telephone cord falling out of the wall, the windows 3.1 computer freezing up, o the agony!

Well, it's been five years since I originally responded in this thread but here it goes ...
I borrowed this book from my local university library and VOILA! it's in there!

Don't know how you'd go about getting parts for an ensemble backing, but the clarinet solo transcription is nothing short of genius.
Bloody hard to play though,
Hope this helps!
