I own an old selmer signet special, and would like to trace its manufacture date, though i understand that with the USA models, serial numbers charts and dates are hard to come by. The serial number is 190195, and the clarinet has insignias on the top joint, lower joint and bell, which reads 'SPECIAL Signet Selmer U.S.A'. I do not have the original case, making identification scarce. Any information on possible dates of manufacture or general information about the model would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

The "Signet" line was Selmer's intermediate line from the ~1940's through the 1990's. They are usually pretty decent instruments when in good condition and are comparable in quality to most of the intermediate level clarinets sold today. They aren't particularly valuable but are usually worth getting overhauled if the instrument needs it and you intend to play it.
