Hello all,
To my fellow EZO users:
Where are you buying your EZO now? I cannot seem to find it my local drug store, the Walgreens company is completely out of stock, and CVS and Walmart to not even carry the product.
Have any of you found a similar substitute? I am not a big fan of using paper because I do not believe it achieves the same effect.
Please let me inform me if it is available to you or if you have found a similar or suitable alternative.
Thanks,
Basil

Michael Lowenstern sells parafin sheets on his website that I use and it works really well. It molds to your teeth quite well and can be used several times over.

jvanullen: I'll look into that. Thanks!
Paula S: EZO is a brand of denture grips made from a cloth material and a molding plastic. EZO creates a vacuum for dentures to stay in place but some clarinet players use EZO for several reasons the two most common covering jagged or sharp teeth, or when used correctly a means to reduce biting.
Here's a link to the product info: http://www.prestigebrands.com/ezo.htm

Ken Shaw: Yeah, I've seen that page and contacted all of the store listed and they all either are indefinitely out of stock or no longer carry the product. Hence my post here.

I ask a relative in Florida to pick some up. She lives in an area with lots of retirees and snowbirds, so the likelihood of stores having it is high.

That's great! Does anybody know if you can buy that paraffin wax sheet from any local store? All I can find are just big paraffin blocks used to make candles. What Michael Lowenstern sells are thin sheets of the material. Unless that's just typical wax paper? It didn't look like paper though. Any ideas?

I know I'm kind of late on replying to this thread, but I have a question. All of the links posted above were for the upper denture cushion. I assume that all of you that are using EZO are placing them on your lower teeth. Why would you put an upper cushion on your lower teeth?

I guess the assumption is if you can the uppers you'll also find the lowers.
The ones I've used for eons are, in fact, lowers. I'm not sure how the upper cushions differ from the lower ones, but you aren't using the whole pad, only a small piece - long (wide) enough to cover your front bottom teeth - so I'm not sure it matters how the entire pad is shaped.

Waiting to hear back from Ezo's parent company about if and when it's coming back to stores. :-(
