As has been mentioned elsewhere on this forum, the guest principal clarinet is supposed to be AM from the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. I haven't verified that info.
It's possible that this show might be archived on line, but I would NOT count on that. Watch LIVE or record it.

In NYC, it will be on PBS (channel 13) in HD, beginning at 8:00 pm.
WQXR FM will broadcast a NY Phil concert at the same time, but it's a different program http://www.wqxr.org/#!/programs/new-york-philharmonic/2012/sep/27/. At any rate, even live simulcasts are impossible to watch on TV and listen to on the radio because the audio and video are about 5 seconds apart, or 15 seconds if you listen on the web.

AM was the principal in the Pines of Rome, and played beautifully. Since that solo is a standard audition excerpt, he certainly nailed the audition.

When you say AM, you mean Anthony McGill?
I missed it...but it's supposed to be re-broadcast on Sunday I think @ 4PM EST.

AM is Anthony McGill.
According to the announcer last night, the concert should be archived soon at
http://video.pbs.org, but I don't see it as of Friday.
