Hi. Are you talking for a CD or a live audition? Whichever it is, be sure to pick a piece that highlights your strengths as a player and does it in the first couple of minutes.

If the live audition, also be sure to practice your sight reading as much as possible. This is where most people lose D.C. band auditions.
