Hi!
Can anyone give a rewiev of cannonball clarinets, barrel and bells. In Ukraine, or in Europe I haven`t seen products of this brand. They looks good but how does thay work?

I have oly tried two of them, but I don't remember the particular models. They were OK, but nothing special as I remember. The barrels have narrower bores than the regular Buffet or Leblanc models, so you may experience extra resistance and tuning issues. The bells has a kind of voicing groove, which I don't like in my original RC Prestige either, but maybe it's good for someone.

I have tried all of their models and thought they were very disappointing. Even their top model. I'd prefer something like an average Yamaha or similar. The supposedly ergonomic register key was especially uncomfortable to me, but I didn't like the tone or the feel of the keys in general.

Cannonball makes some decent instruments but they also frequently make some pretty dubious claims. A while back they released an entire series of saxophones to take advantage of the latest ineffectual gimmick; resonance stones. I seem to recall that Cannonball was originally claiming that the stones glued to the body would dramatically enhance the sound. After the whole "resonance stone" concept was debunked they now claim that they are purely cosmetic.
