I just picked up my daughters clarinet today for the school year. There were 3 levels I could pick from and I chose the brand name level. The case I received was a Selmer case but I am questioning if the clarinet itself is truly a Selmer.
The only marking on it of any kind is the number P0027796. There is no makers mark, nothing. I have searched everywhere trying to confirm if this is truly a Selmer or if it is a different brand in a Selmer case.
Any help would be much appreciated!

If it were a Selmer, or made by Selmer, it would have a name on it. It's not a Selmer. I don't think there's a way to tell by just a number. Sorry!

a photo would help....
If the clarinet isn't brand new, it might be a Bundy, some of which came with decal-type logos that could have been washed and wiped away after years. But do post a picture, close-up of the keywork if possible.
