I got a clarinet that I'm working on, and got it cheap. It is made of wood. When I got it the pieces were stuck together and had to do some rapping with rubber mallet on side just to free up the bound in cork. The bell is cracked and the lower ring is a bit loose around it. There looks like a crack in the main body, but was repaired. Keys are all brass. No, not nickel with brass showing.. all brass. Missing one of the keys on the lower piece, outside key of the 3 and missing posts where the rod would attach the key.
Has no name.. none. I've gone over it with a fine magnifyer and there is no serial number, nor name on the clarinet. Any ideas on how to determine it's age, or who actually made it?
It was acquired via ebay auction and the auction has ended but does have links. So, just for the sake of viewing the pictures, here is the link. Vintage Clarinet
