I've searched on the bboard about this, and couldn't find much. So here's my question: How should I store my reed stock? I'm not talking about long-term storage (although it would be nice to know); just a way to store them so that I can pull one out whenever I want and not worry about all the things that may or may not have happened while it was stored.

If they're sealed, let them be. Pino suggests storing opened reeds on microscope slides, attached by rubber bands, one on each side of the slide. The slides & reeds are kept ( you guessed it!) in a microscope slide box.

I have reeds from the 1980's. About 3000. The color changed as it should, darker. They play great. Open boxes.
