Leister has always been one of my favorites, and was my "ideal sound" in college. Though I've embraced more brilliance, I stil strive for that beautiful legato...that inner connection between notes that sounds like liquid gold.
The whole interview has gems, but I really thought what he mentions about sound and "schools of playing" and all of that is pretty interesting (around 18:00, near the end)

I checked out the DVDs; unfortunately for those of us in the United States, they use the PAL system, and thus are unplayable without some sort of conversion.
