hi, i’m new to the forum and (badly) need help to identify my clarinet.
it was my lucky day when i found (rather than bought) a beautiful le blanc clarinet from flea market, but i have no idea what type/series of this clarinet (just love to have it), i did search on the web with nothing as result (more confusing to be correct)
here some informations regarding to the clarinet :
1. it has s/n 52137
2. and it comes in 4 pieces (mouth piece, barrel, no joint body/don’t know what it called and bell)
3. the logo is : G Le Blanc Paris
my questions are :
1. what ‘exact’ year the clarinet was produced (if it possible)
2. and what type/series it should be called
3. last, is it worth to be keep as collection (i can’t play this instrument, just love to have it as i mentioned above)
so please help me
i do appreciate your help (indeed) to ease my confusion

ooh, thank you for your fast response and i do really sorry for the “unfinished” sentences coz (my) bad internet connection during the process.
BTW, the link you gave is a useful site indeed !
hence, more in facts :
1. there are no numbers/letters (eg. 176 or classic) above the logo (top joint), just engraved looks like a bell shape to me (as on pic of serial 341xx)
2. the LEBLANC logo in block letters with G above the logo in the same area, encroaches ………),
3. the body of my clarinet is one piece (instead of 2 pieces)
by those facts, can you give the clear judgement what exact clarinet is mine ?
(i won’t judge coz i haven’t any knowledge and have lack of experience)

It sounds to me like it's an LL going from what you described as that has two decorative interlocking Ls forming the bell shape you see above the logo.
The only one-piece body Leblancs I know of were the basset clarinets, but as the LL was made in numerous configurations I suppose it shouldn't be much of a surprise they madeone-piece body sopranos.
I've got a full Boehm LL which I don't use much as I prefer the old large bore Selmers, but it's still an excellent clarinet nevertheless. It's the 2nd one in from the left in this photo: http://www.clarinetperfection.com/galleryclar/Keywork/FB/01.jpg

nice collections you have
mine is slightly different than yours, especially with the number of keywork (still don’t know what it called)
it’s more Boehm-System (if i’m not mistaken) with no joint on the body

From your description and the picture, it appears pretty obvious that you have an LL Eb clarinet.

you’re absolutely wright sir !
hence, mine is LL Paris Professional Eb Piccolo clarinet (by judging the keywork and the shape)
and it was produced in 1980, according to the s/n chart provided in this forum (s/n 52137)
thank you soooo much for giving me the key (LL Eb)
this is an exhale for me (indeed), then (hopefully ) i’ll keep this beautiful clarinet as my collection along with my flute
