Dear All
Four-to-six months ago, I purchased a set of Forestone reeds to try them. I found them very very light and ended up using their strongest one, the F5 (which, in *MY* opinion, somehow compares to a light Vandoren Classic 3).
Today I saw on Forestone website that the closest to the Vandoren Classic 3 is a Forestone F3.
So, my question: did Forestone change the numbering of their clarinet reeds recently...? I asked this question to Forestone but didn't get an answer so far.
Thank you in advance

Hi!
I purchased a Forestone F4,5 about a month ago and it's similar to the Vandoren V12 3 i usually play, so i think they didn't change the numbering recently but the comparison chart they uploaded to their website is not right.
By the way, i love this Forestone reed, but i got dissapointed with the clarinet premimum cut which they said it's an advanced model of the traditional one, so i stayed with the traditional F4,5.
I love Forestone reeds and i wish they will have differents models (different cuts) in the future with the same material.

Thanks a lot for the feedback.
Same here: not impressed with the Premium Cut ones
