I posted this a while ago but I thought that I would try again...

I have a metal clarinet and can't find anything on it.

Written on the bell...

Henri Villere
Paris
C. C. C.

The serial number is 9619

Anyone?

Matthew P. Ridge

Sorry, Matthew, but I have never heard of it. BUT, good news. If there is a listing in the New Langwill Index ... some info may be available to you. You might also consider posting to the Klarinet List, as there is a much greater viewership towards an answer to a question like this. Best of luck. mark

Villere isn't listed in the N.L.I.

Matthew:

You might want to try an antique specialist who must might be able to shed some light on your quest. They sometimes come up with some awfully good answers.

Good Luck.
