Does anyone know how many clarinet students at Michigan State get to study with Elsa Ludewig Verdehr? Is she planning on still teaching there for a few years?
Thanks!

She has retired. I believe she had one graduate student this year.

Thanks for the info! A little disappointing since Verdehr sounds sooo good!! and so do her students that I've heard.
I'm sure Mr Oien is great too though.

Ted Oien is replacing Caroline Hartig for one year. Dr. Hartig won the position at Ohio State.

Ted is a wonderful player and person. Any student who gets to study with him will be fortunate.
