Does anyone know where I can get
the clarinet parts to Poulenc's
Babar? It's a rental only I think.

It is available for purchase, though I did not check on the cost.

Chester Music seems to be the current publisher: http://www.chesternovello.com/default.aspx?TabId=2432&State_3041=2&workId_3041=8467

I did not check on the availability nor price; it may be that you can only download the score and would need to extract individual parts as needed.

Which version? I did this a couple of years ago and did the chamber arrangement for single strings and wind etc. If its this version then you'll be playing Bb, Eb and bass. That was hire only from Chester. I may have a PDF on email if your interested.

I am only aware of the Francaix "arrangement" of the piano original.... Did Poulenc extract his own version as well?

Almost sure we will be doing the full orchestra w/piano so I'll check availability
at Chester Publishing, doing it for a children's concert with Peter & the Wolf
