 Bee buzzing in a jug
Author: Bill

Just had a delightful hour or so of playing the Hite edition of the Rose etudes (he called "The French School," I think). I am coming back to playing after a year or more off.

Used some equipment I wouldn't normally choose: an old "Winged Globe" Selmer (restored to mechanical and visual perfection by Vytas Krass) and a George Bundy mouthpiece he furnished with it.

I voiced the reed especially carefully, and I really got the bee buzzing in a jug thing this morning.

Joy.
