 Kaspar mouthpiece question
Author: Forrest
Date:   2001-02-24 14:49

I have a Kaspar 11 mouthpiece. The oval area where the name is stamped on the mouthpiece says "Frank Kaspar Co" on the top part of the oval and says "Chicago ILL" on the bottom part of the oval. In between the two appears an "0" (when you hold the mouthpiece so that the words are upright, the "0" is on its side). Does anyone know what the "0" signifies?

That's the look on most people's faces when you tell them how much it's worth.

Drop Chris Sayres a line, he is from the Kaspar stable and probably knows the lineage of the different stencils.

"oo "

The "O" is derived from the modern buyers of the Kaspar stuff....

That's Rick Sayre. Just so you can have better luck getting in touch with the man knowing his name. :-)
