 "Cut table" old Buffet mpc

I am crazy about the old Buffet mouthpieces on which the Buffet stamp appears at the bottom (not the middle). This is the style of the wood and earlier rubber ones. I have an odd one that features an obviously factory-imposed "gash" or cut (a sort of "V" canyon) across the table near the bottom. I'd post photos but getting a decent of a mouthpiece is such a PITA. The other features are 3 ligature lines down and FRANCE on the LH shoulder in the larger, wider type. Also an "A" on the RH shoulder.

Sadly this guy has something a bit larger than a flea bite to the tip. Rubber is very black and shiny.

Bill,

I'm pretty sure the old wood Buffet mouthpieces were made by A. Lelandais. About 90% of Buffet mouthpieces (until late 70's) were made by Lelandais and not Chedeville. I also like these old "bottom logo" hard-rubber mouthpieces because of the excellent material. They require some work but IMO well worth it.
