I just bought a Robert Malerne-Paris "Standard" Bb on eBay auction. The serial # is A7634. Can anyone put a date to that? Horn is rosewood and looks great but not playable. Needs pads. What should I expect to pay for this?

To get a feel for typical prices on the auction, search the closed auctions using the words "Malerne" and "clarinet."

Dee, you may have misunderstood me. I got the instrument--what I need now is an aproximation what it would cost to re-pad etc.
