Does anyone know what the clarinetist, Martin Frost's set-up is? From all I can name, he plays with a Buffet Chadash barrel, Vandoren Leather ligature. He also switches between his Selmer and Buffet.
What model of Selmer and Buffet does he play, and what other set-up has he used before? I do know that he plays with a different set-up depending on which pieces he is playing.

He uses his Tosca in most of the pics, though the other clarinet is a mystery to me.

The second photo looks like a Buffet Tosca. The first Photo looks like a Buffet Prestige with the left hand G#/D# lever removed. I'm guessing RC since that is common in Europe, but it's impossible to see what is written on the Prestige metal plate (could also be Festival). He probably has a website where you can contact to ask.

If someone Reads the booklet with his cd's you can see tha he used to use Buffet RC Prestige and Vandroen B40 mouthpiece. Then I saw he used Buffet Festival in Bb and Chadash in A on his Brahms cd with Kanter mouthpiece. Most recently on his Alho/Nielsen Cd he uses Buffet Tosca in Bb and Chadash in A with Chadash/Hill mouthpiece.

i tried one of hes old RC's once(he sold it to a friend of mine) and it played really excellent!! a wonderful piece of work. which i have experienced no buffet to be factory-fresh...

He plays on Toscas, both Bb and A. He sold his Chadash A clarinet to his student, who in turn is my teacher, so I've tried it. I actually found it hard to play, but maybe that was because I tested it only a few seconds and with my teacher's complete setup which I wasn't used to, and to top it all, with a bad reed lol. But it was the exact opposite of "free blowing".

well i tried his old RC from my old teacher. (not the same one). :P
and it was very freeblowing and nice, so its probably as you said; the mpc/reed-combo was all wrong for you!!
i have heard the chadashinstruments to be very nice ones and i guess especially his!!

no we do not. i tried my previous teacher Tobias Hall's RC when i was studying in the concervatory in falun.

i have heard people say he isnt that good.
shure a great person and the lessons allways where nice, but they thought that he was a bit to shy and... grey?! for them to get really excited about learning.
but then i have heard some who raise him to the skies as the best teacher. so it is really very much individual and how two people get along with eachother...

Some people are great performers and others are great teachers, and often people cannot be both. In his case, he sounds like a great performer. I plan on purchasing a couple of his CDs if I can get a hold of them.

Reliably informed that Martin is currently using a Buffet Crampon Bb
and is using a Tosca A.
His mouthpiece is Kanter.
Not sure about the other bits and bobs.
