I would like to find some CDs on which Gino Cioffi can be heard. Any suggestions?

I'd like too. What a player he was.

I have not come across any. I have several lps that I burned to disc. I know I converted his Brahms trio, Brahms Eb sonata, and I think some other things. If anyone wants them on disc, send me a pm and I will mail them.
On another note, I aquired some of Cioffis personal sheet music. One piece was a piece written by Cahuzac, the Italian theme and variations(the name escapes me). What is really amazing(to me at least), is that it has a hand written inscription, dated 1951 paris, to Gino Cioffi, solo clarinetist of the boston symphony, with admiration, signed LOUIS CAHUZAC! It is one of my clarinet treasures.

Watch him on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9yxo6kKZas
A while back the comment was made that he doesn't use the Ab/Eb key for high D - you don't need to on large bore Selmers.

Thanks, Chris. I saw in the video two old buddies from Allentown- violinists Bobby Karol and Gottfried Wilfinger, both with the BSO from 1950 on.
