I noticed that too. Actually, my wife was a confirmed bedpost-overnighter, and she swears the flavor was still there in the morning. The only reason it seemed to go away was that your taste buds got tired.
I haven't tried it lately. Please do the experiment and report back.

I heaved it left and right, just like Ben Armato and Tom Ridenour said. But the flavor just left anyway, at least most of it. It is different for French, Australian, and Argentinian flavors, but can be mitigated by an extended, gradual break-in period. Wait! - and there is more...
