There's been a few questions in my head recently that I haven't found answers for.
What muscles are employed when forming the clarinet embouchure? What purpose does each muscle serve? How do these muscles affect sound?
I'm very curious, and I might end up using this this for a biology project :P

If you really want all the gorey details of the muscles involved get a copy of _
The Embouchure
Maurice M Porter
Boosey & Hawkes 1967
Porter was a dentist with a specialist interest in wind players problems and had I believe many top UK players of the day amongst his clientel.
My copy (1970 edition) has 144 pages covering all woodwind and brasswind.
