does anyone know the approximate grade level of this piece?

Krommer Concerto for 2 clarinet Opus 35 in Eb

Grade 8 is the highest.

The Krommer concerto I was thinking of is ABRSM Grade 8 which is the 1st movement - the 2nd movement was on the grade 6 syllabus (but not any longer).

It depends if the other pieces you've got in mind are on the syllabus (they may have been in previous years), but a good place to start is the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) syllabus which has been the standard used in the UK for instrumental exams:

There's also Trinity and Guildhall which have a similar system of grading and syllabus, so have a look to see what they've got listed in their syllabuses (I think that's the plural).
